BIOAg Research

WSU has a long history of Biologically Intensive and Organic Agricultural research including efforts in direct-seed farming systems, organic farming systems, coddling moth mating disruption, cover crops, green manures, anaerobic digestion, composting, etc. The BIOAg Program was designed to enhance key ares of BIOAg research excellence at WSU through an internal BIOAg grant program, targeted investments in infrastructure, supporting faculty efforts to secure extramural funding from state, regional and federal grant programs, and by facilitating the transfer of research results to industry and policy-makers.

Current information on the latest progress on BIOAg Projects can be found in the CSANR Research Project Database.
