Matt Pruett joined CSANR as a Scientific Assistant in 2018, initially building web based tools to help visualize climate projections in NW Washington. He now focuses on determining the effect of irrigation over the Columbia River Basin. He earned a BS in Physics from Central Washington University as well as a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Washington State University Vancouver and is currently pursuing a M.S. in Water Resources Engineering from Portland State University. Other than visualizing data, he enjoys the three B’s; biking, backpacking, and baking.
