Lynne

Lynne is the Center's BIOAg Research Leader and an affiliate faculty member in the Department of Crop & Soil Sciences.. Lynne has been a member of the WSU Soils faculty for the last 6 years, teaching courses in soil biology and microbiology, composting, organic gardening and farming, soil fertility, cropping systems, and plant-soil-microbial interactions. Her past work has pursued the practical side of soil biology: to understand the interactions of soil-dwelling organisms with their environment, and use that information to increase the productivity and sustainability of farming. She brings an active research program on the interface of soil and compost microbiology with soil fertility and plant pathology. Her farming background and country life keep her grounded in finding practical solutions to real-world goals. For more information on Lynne please go to her page at crop and soil sciences http://css.wsu.edu/people/faculty/soils/lcbweb.html
