Organic Grant Program
Organic Farming Research for the Northwest
In 2003 the CSANR launched an organic farming research program to serve the Pacific Northwest. This Federally supported research program supports the expansion of crop production research and initiates economic and market research of organic foods. The grant program is currently in its second 5-year funding cycle, and for each cycle, research priorities are identified by organic growers, consumers, suppliers, and researchers in the region. Based on available funds, the CSANR selects projects for funding with input from a review committee composed of internal researchers and external stakeholders.
Please view Research Progress Reports for information on all projects funded by this program.
