  • Compost Connection Newsletter

    This newsletter is being launched as an educational tool to bring forward the latest information on compost use.

  • Compost Images

    An archive of digital photos of various aspects of agricultural composting and compost use to assist agricultural professionals and others in their education programs. Produced as part of the Compost Education and Resources for Western Agriculture project with funding from the Western SARE Program.

  • WSU Compost Facility

    WSU operates a full scale composting facility on the Pullman campus to recycle organic waste, while providing teaching and research opportunities.

  • Urban Composting

    Information on compost for the urban dweller. Includes benefits, uses, links to pages on how to compost, as well as resources and contacts for the urban composter.

  • Composting in Agriculture

    This will include links to resources and contacts, as well as information on uses and benefits of compost in agriculture.

  • Industrial and Commercial Composting

    This will contain information on feedstocks, processes, product quality and regulation. Also, resources and contacts and a list of commercial composters in Washington.

  • Research and Education

    This will provide links and info on what is happening in research and education regarding compost.
