WSU Food-Energy-Water Seed and Planning Grants

Posted by Tara Zimmerman | June 23, 2015

Many institutions, including federal agencies and universities, have recognized the critical need to better understand system responses within and across the Food-Energy-Water (FEW) nexus domain.  As FEW issues become a top research priority, CEREO, the State of Washington Water Research Center (SWWRC) and the Center for Sustaining Agriculture & Natural Resources (CSANR) are pleased to announce a FEW seed and planning grant program to identify and energize high-priority FEW research initiatives at WSU.

The FEW seed and planning grant program seeks interdisciplinary proposals that foster collaborative research on complex environmental issues through a diversity of disciplines and partnerships between WSU academic units, campuses and institutions outside WSU.

These grants are supported by funds from CEREO, CSANR, Office of Research, the College of Arts and Sciences, Voiland College of Engineering and Architecture and the College of Agricultural, Human and Natural Resource Sciences.

For more information about submission details or eligibility, visit the FEW RFP webpage. For questions, please email cereo@wsu.edu.  The deadline for applications is Aug 7th, 2015.
