Organic Farming Research for the Northwest
In 2003 the CSANR launched a federally-funded organic farming research program to support the expansion of crop production research and to initiate economic and market research of organic foods in the Pacific Northwest. The program completed its second and final 5-year funding cycle in 2013. For each cycle, research priorities were identified by organic growers, consumers, suppliers, and researchers in the region. CSANR funded projects with input from a review committee comprised of internal researchers and external stakeholders.
