Illegible report cover.

Advancing Organics Management in Washington State: The Waste to Fuels Technology Partnership 2023–2025 Biennium synthesizes research and implementation efforts conducted through Washington’s Waste to Fuels Technology Partnership. The publication presents technical, economic, and policy analyses of pathways that convert municipal solid waste, forest residues, and agricultural residues into renewable fuels and value-added products.

The report evaluates gasification, pyrolysis, methanol production, and sustainable aviation fuel pathways, including assessments of feedstock availability, transportation logistics, process efficiencies, lifecycle greenhouse gas implications, and policy scenarios affecting deployment. Regional case studies examine scale and cost considerations across Washington.

In addition to technical findings, the publication summarizes stakeholder engagement, workshops, and communication metrics that supported decision-making during the biennium. The report serves as a resource for state agencies, policymakers, researchers, and industry partners working to advance organics management, reduce landfill reliance, and expand renewable fuel infrastructure in Washington state.

This report will be released soon.
