A multi-university network advancing convergence research across the US Intermountain West.

The Intermountain West Transformation Network is a regional research partnership focused on building resilience in communities and ecosystems across the Intermountain West. Led by the University of New Mexico, the Network brings together eight Western U.S. universities and their community partners to address complex sustainability challenges and explore guided transformations through convergence research. Rather than pursuing research in isolation, the Network emphasizes co-design and co-production of knowledge with community partners, ensuring projects are grounded in real-world needs and local expertise.
