Aaron began working with CSANR in the Spring of 2020. He contributes to various projects with topics ranging from wildfire to water supply and demand, helping researchers communicate the results of their work. He has a long-time interest in caring for the natural world and its resources, and his work aligns with an understanding that for science to be well implemented, it must be well communicated. Aaron earned a B.S. in Environmental Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2018 and an M.S. in Geography from Virginia Tech in 2020. He was born and raised in western North Carolina and currently resides in Asheville, North Carolina. Outside of work, Aaron enjoys being active in the outdoors, playing guitar, and trying spicy foods.
