Adjunct Faculty

Nate Stacey joined CSANR as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in 2018.  His research focuses on the biological, chemical, and physical responses that result from additions of recycled organic materials.  More specifically, he is interested in the soil processes that govern the availability of plant nutrients. Originally from St. Louis, MO, he discovered an interest in the soil environment after spending several years in the mountains of Colorado.  He earned a B.A. in Communications from Truman State University and a Ph.D. in Soil Science from Washington State University.  When not taking soil samples, he enjoys reading, running, and exploring the outdoors.
